Nothing is safe from Donald Trump and his administration. The White House shared a video of an awful MAGA knockoff of Nintendo’s iconic video game, The Legend of Zelda.
While the price at the pump continues to rise, food prices soar, the cost of everyday items spikes thanks to his tariffs, and the war with Iran rages on, Donald Trump and his administration continue to show they don’t have their priorities straight.
Trump was already getting dragged on social media for dropping another ridiculous 9/11 lie claiming he was pulled out of rubble by firefighters at Ground Zero.
So, to take the focus off his latest lie and jump on the excitement of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake’s big gameplay reveal earlier in the day, the White House shared a new video inspired by the iconic game called The Legend of Trump: Make America Great Again.
The clip shows Trump in the same vein as Link from the classic Nintendo 64 game, running into the White House and then showing him sitting at the Resolute Desk, “working.”
The video was met with immediate criticism, with many calling for Nintendo, a company that is notorious for suing people whom they feel are misusing their IP, to take legal action against Trump.
This latest troll job comes after Trump Arcade, which featured several racist games, one of them similar to Tetris, which did push The Tetris Company to distance itself from Trump’s game, which used Tetris-like blocks to build his southern border wall.
We’ll see whether Nintendo actually slaps the Trump administration with a well-deserved cease-and-desist. Until then, you can see more reactions below.
