Raised in Twinsburg, Ohio and moved to Reeltown, Alabama when he was 8 years old. C-ZA played football, basketball, baseball, and ran track. He was in the Beta Club, Key Club, and the Scholar’s Bowl Team. Graduating in 2002, C-ZA decided to attend Alabama A&M University where he majored in Computer Science and played on the football team until 2006.

Before graduating from Alabama A&M University in 2007, C-ZA found the passion of radio and in 2006 landed an internship at WHWT in Huntsville, Alabama where he worked his way up from intern to production assistant.  He then became producer, on-air talent, mixer, and DJ for radio station events. WHWT was later sold and WEUP was his next opportunity where he is an on-air talent Saturdays and Sundays 2p-6p.
