Eric Deters, who organized the Freedom Fest event featuring Kid Rock and Dog the Bounty Hunter, announced the struggle event was canceled just one week before it was supposed to take place at Morning View Farm in northern Kentucky.
Deters took to Facebook to announce the festival’s cancellation and deliver a rant calling out the wealth class of the GOP, announcing, “I am never ever, ever, ever, ever doing this event again. Ever.”
The Daily Beast shared more of his rant, where he continued to complain, alleging that people were dodging him and making up excuses for why they wouldn’t be attending.
“I do countless favors for these people,” he said. “These people—some of them—I got ignored!… Then there’s a group of people that made an excuse, like, ‘Oh, I was traveling.’ Like their phone doesn’t work while traveling. I even took the special test of giving some of them a hard time.”
