Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently imprisoned in New Jersey in a low-security facility and is reportedly enjoying the trappings of the outside world. According to a new report, Sean “Diddy” Combs has access to antidepressants, massages on demand, and expensive liquor.
According to NBC News, Sean “Diddy” Combs, 56, is maintaining his mogul ways while imprisoned at Fort Dix federal prison. By way of sources who spoke with the outlet, Combs has access to cellphones to view nude images of an ex-girlfriend, Chinese-style massages, and is reportedly sipping Hennessy.
Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence after his conviction on charges related to prostitution and illegal transport of sex workers. There have been previous accounts of Combs enjoying his celebrity status, and he has largely moved about Fort Dix unscathed.
In the NBC News report, images of Combs using a contraband phone and other related images formed the backbone of the story, along with the accounts from fellow inmates.
“This is not some normal sh*t you see in jail. This is some rich sh*t,” said one of four men NBC News spoke with under the condition of anonymity. “It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”
The report also adds that guards helped smuggle in the liquor and that Combs frequently purchased “rem-roms,” a type of antidepressant. Given his financial status, Combs has been able to afford to pay inmates for various services, including cleaning toilets and showers before he uses them, among other tasks.
Naturally, considering he still has more time to serve, Combs’ spokesperson is pushing back at the report.
“The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news,” the spokesperson said. “The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence while awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal.”
