Cosplay Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth proudly proclaimed his “Department of War” has no room for “fatties, beardos, and weirdos.” Still, a recent workout video pretty much confirmed he meant himself.
When it comes to having the “warrior ethos,” Hegseth doesn’t have it.
Hegseth became the butt of jokes on social media after a clip of him failing to keep up with military members circulated.
The 46-year-old, highly unqualified Secretary of Defense visited the USS Abraham Lincoln Wednesday after its record-breaking deployment to the Middle East, sparking widespread discussion after videos of poor conditions on the aircraft carrier went viral, along with reports of crew members attempting to jump overboard.
So we are sure the Marines on board were thrilled to see Hegseth, who was there for a Fox News photo op, join them for a morning workout.
In the video, the service members handle the workout with ease while Hegseth struggles to keep up.
At another point in the video, the service members run to their next workout after completing a set of push-ups, and Kegsbreth hangs back and gives high-fives, looking like an absolute loser.
The Clips of Pete Hegseth Struggling Through Workouts Are Hilarious
Hegseth, who announced mandatory testosterone screening for military personnel over the age of 30, which many were quick to label a form of “gene therapy,” was instantly ridiculed on social media for his epic workout fail.
Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel joined in, ridiculing Hegseth during his opening monologue: “Our secretary of war and styling mousse, Pete Hegseth, was in San Diego today to personally greet the long-suffering crew of the USS Lincoln,” Kimmel joked. “Pretty Pete was right there waving his pocket square from the dock, welcoming our sailors home.”
Pete Hegseth needs to undergo mandatory testosterone screening because his energy is looking real low.
