Day one of New York Comic Con 2026 was a strong start, so you already know day 2 was absolutely popping on the cosplay front.
HipHopWired and CassiusLife were in the building, searching the halls of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center for the best cosplay, and we weren’t disappointed.
No surprise: while walking around, we spotted a great John Stewart cosplay from the hit HBO Max series Lanterns by cosplayer @Wallacemorris. We should have gotten him to say the “SPEAK UP” line or his new oath.

We also saw cool takes on Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider video game franchise, Varang from Avatar: Fire and Ash, Django from the film Django: Unchained, and more.
