Diddy was reportedly transported to a hospital after suffering a head injury while behind bars, according to sources.
The circumstances surrounding the injury remain unclear, and it has not been disclosed how the Bad Boy Records founder was hurt. A representative for Combs addressed the reports in a statement to Complex.
“We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances. Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”
According to reports, an ambulance allegedly left the prison around 1 a.m. to transport Diddy to the hospital. Sources believe the injury is not life-threatening, through further details have yet to be confirmed.
The latest reports come as Combs continues to serve his prison sentence. Last year, he was sentenced to 50 months behind bars and fined $50,000 after being found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution.
