There have been rumblings on the internet, without a shred of evidence, that Marvel Studios is open to recasting Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa. A Marvel Executive has entered the chat, and he’s throwing cold water on the idea for now.
The recast T’Challa movement once again picked up steam when @TheInSneider got on Beyoncé’s internet claiming that Marvel Studios is planning to recast the character played by the late Chadwick Boseman in the upcoming Avengers films and Black Panther III.

Speaking with Comicbook.com, VP of production and development at Marvel Studios Nate Moore spoke about those rumors and basically shut them down.
“The truth is, there’s no truth to those rumors. Never say never to anything, we haven’t really had a lot of creative conversations with Ryan Coogler yet, because he’s finishing his film Sinners, which comes out this year. We’ll get into it later this year, but everything you read online is not true, if for no other reason than we just haven’t started,” Moore told the website.
Moore could be talking about Black Panther III, which is not even on Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios’ minds as they are gearing up to kick off their 2025 with the release of Captain America: Brave New World starring Anthony Mackie and just recently dropping the trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps which drops in July.
Also, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever already introduced Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and T’Challa’s son Toussaint, whose Wakandan name is T’Challa, likes his late father.
Still, the rumors of Damson Idris or Aldis Hodge consuming the liquid from the heart-shaped herb have gone vibranium on social media, and we understand why.

We say just let Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios cook. We will see the Black Panther again.
