Meek Mill and DJ Akademiks are reigniting their long-standing beef.
The Philly rapper and media personality have gone back and forth for years, with Meek previously accusing Ak of posting his low album sales numbers to make him look bad.
At one point, Meek even demanded that Akademiks stop posting about him altogether, whether the coverage was positive or negative. Ak didn’t listen, and the back-and-forth continued.
Now, following Lil Durk being found not guilty in his federal murder-for-hire case, Meek had some words for Ak and his coverage of the trial.
“Akademiks was in Durk’s case after he gas lit every major young Hip-Hop beef…, let’s leave them in the dust … he broadcasted 69 while Durk fought for his life …. don’t contact him or touch his platform he’s here to destroy successful black men from the streets!”
Meek then made additional allegations against Akademiks and questioned why children would watch or support him.
“And he r*pes lil girls ‘allegedly … they say he got the kids … why are our kids watching a r*pist gaslight people reading people about death… he’s a bum and when I see him ima interact! I was telling y’all when he did it with Luce Cannon.”
Akademiks appeared to respond without saying much, posting a screenshot showing multiple missed calls from Meek on Instagram. The calls reportedly came with Meek asking Akademiks to go live with him.
Since then, neither side has publicly addressed the current situation any further.
