As we inch closer to GTA 6’s November 19 release, folks involved with the highly anticipated video game are spilling the beans.

Travis Scott, Metro Boomin, and other musicians have all revealed their involvement in the game without spilling any details, and now Stephen Root, fresh off his supporting-actor Emmy win for his portrayal of Wyck in Widow’s Bay, confirmed he is in GTA 6.

Speaking with AP, Root confirmed he lent his voice to the game. “Yeah, you’re gonna see me in there,” he told the website in a recent interview when asked about his involvement in GTA 6.

Root, a Florida native, revealed that he will voice Brian Heder, whom Rockstar Games describes as “a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the [Leonida] Keys,” a fictional take on the Florida Keys. “Still moving product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori, Brian’s been around long enough to let others do his dirty work.”

According to the internet, being the part-time detectives they are, figured out he was in the game, adding, “I think from the first rollout of GTA that they were doing maybe almost a year ago, they had my character in there. And there were too many people who knew me from ‘King of the Hill’ and my voice. So I think that secret kind of got divulged then.”

We got to meet Brian Heder in the extended look at GTA 6 on Netflix, before it eventually landed on the Rockstar Games official YouTube page, which has an astounding 27 million views and counting.

We are sure more big names will confirm their involvement as we get closer to launch day.
