Donald Trump is currently getting no coverage after he unconstitutionally banned multiple news outlets from covering him. But it appears he had a backup plan: Trump TV.
Trump learned quickly that his decision to ban CNN, MS Now, and Politico was an absolutely dumb move, due to ABC, CBS, Fox News, and NBC joining in solidarity and suspending pool coverage, leading to his voice being drowned out as Marine One’s chopper blades whirled during a ribbon-cutting ceremony for his helipad, one of his many stupid vanity projects.
Video of the moment quickly went viral due to it looking like Trump yelling into a void, or even better, silenced- something we all want, honestly.
But it also seems that with anything Trump and his administration does, there’s a reason behind it. Trump wants to be a dictator like his buddies Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un so badly, so it should come as no surprise that the White House dropped Trump TV. This 24/7 video feed highlights Orange Mussolini and his “achievements,” right after announcing the ban on those three news outlets.

It’s unclear if the YouTube-hosted stream, called “Trump TV,” is meant to potentially fill the void of television pool coverage of the President’s events. But it went live at 7 p.m. ET, according to the White House, with a rerun of Trump’s speech at Mount Rushmore on July 3.
The White House described the stream as putting “top past moments, announcements, and the latest and greatest from the Administration all in one place.” In its social media post, the White House added: “Not every big moment has made it on your tv, now it can.”
Kaelan Dorr, a deputy assistant to the President and head of digital strategy at the White House, added on social media that Trump TV will show “the Administration’s greatest hits, unfiltered.”
Spewing the President’s favorite talking points, Dorr continued, “The press, in some cases, reported inaccurately or not at all on the Administration’s many record breaking accomplishments on behalf of all Americans.”
Everyone Is Calling Trump TV What It Really Is, State-Run TV
Social media had plenty to say, immediately calling Trump TV what it is: “State-Run TV.”
“First, Trump banned independent news from the White House,” California Governor Gavin Newsom posted on social media. “Now, he’s launching what is quite literally state-run TV to try drowning out the fact that he and his corrupt administration are failing the American people. This is truly autocratic behavior from a failed President.”
Another post read, “Some North Korea type sh*t.”
