Stevie Wonder‘s 18th studio album, Songs in the Key of Life, was released 50 years ago on September 28, 1976. To commemorate the moment, Stevie Wonder unveiled four new songs from the Songs in the Key of Life sessions.
For many fans of Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life is considered to be the legendary singer and songwriter’s magnum opus. This sentiment is apparently known to Wonder, as he’s recently revealed that he’s launching an 180-stop tour in connection with the album’s milestone.
The Songs in the Key of Life EP was announced on Wonder’s official website and his fan website, breaking down the four new tracks.

In the final days of working on Songs in the Key of Life, ending our sessions at 4:54 a.m. became one of our unintentional rituals.
And so today, 9/28/26, at that same hour, I’m sharing four songs meant for the album that I’ve always wanted you to hear.

The tracks are “It’s Easier,” “My Life Story of Love,” “I Can See the Sun in Late December,” and “I’m Into Livin’.”
