Mixtape Wayne fans are in for a treat as one of Weezy’s most popular projects is getting its own vinyl release.

Back in 2009, Lil Wayne blessed Hip-Hop with No Ceilings, a mixtape that saw him go off on some of the hottest at the time. From “Swag Surf,” to “Ice Cream” and “Wasted,” no instrumental was safe when Weezy got his hands on it.

Wayne was coming off the success of Tha Carter III and decided to give his day ones a free project as a thank-you for all their support. Fast-forward to 2026, and No Ceilings is finally getting its own vinyl release.

The vinyl is expected to drop on November 27 through Young Money Entertainment, with only 5,000 copies available. The limited-edition pressing will retails for $39.99 and is expected to include “Kobe Bryant” as a bonus track.

It took years for Wayne to get No Ceilings onto DSPs like Apple Music and Spotify, but he finally got the project cleared in 2020. However, when the tape originally landed on streaming platforms, it was cut down to 12 tracks, compared to the 21 songs on the original version.

Following the 2020 release, Lil Wayne’s manager at the time, Mack Maine, described the process of clearing the mixtape as a “frigging nightmare.”

Now, six years later, fans are getting another piece of Weezy history, and this time, they can spin the mixtape classic on wax.
