Gucci Mane dropped his new album, Against All Odds, and it’s clear he has a chip on his shoulder.
Outside of the 20th-anniversary deluxe edition of Hard To Kill, this marks Wop’s first official release of the year. His last project was 2025’s Episodes, which arrived alongside his book, Episodes: The Diary of a Recovering Mad Man.
In both the album and book, the Atlanta legend opened up about his struggles with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia throughout his rise in Hip-Hop. As he continues to navigating this new chapter of his life, Gucci has been reflecting on his past and working to move forward.
Now, with Against All Odds, it feels like the world is getting a taste of the 2006 version of Gucci Mane again. Just look at some of the track title. With records like “Back Against The Wall,” “Y’all Make Me Sick,” and “F*cc Errbody,” Wop isn’t holding back about how he feels.
With a select few features, the Lemonade rapper taps back into the unapologetic energy that fans have come to know and love.
